Our Curriculum
At Tilley’s Dance Academy, we believe people of all ages should learn to dance – and have lots of fun in the process! We offer the best selection of kids and adult dance classes in Statesville, NC, and there’s no shortage of dance styles we strive to teach in our loving and caring facility.

Kids Dance Classes
Are you looking to enroll your child in dance lessons? At Tilley’s Dance Academy, we teach young children the basics of ballet, tap, and jazz dance. Through these styles of dance, your child will learn concentration, coordination, and how to control their bodies. They’ll also learn how to stay in rhythm while combining movements, like jumping, lifting, and so much more.
We also teach combination classes, creative movement, and lyrical dance, as well as tumbling. Children as young as 18 months can enroll in our dance classes.
Mommy & Me
Preschool/Kindergarten Classes
4-year-olds and 5-year-olds are placed together in the same class. 3-year-olds are placed in their own separate class.

STARS Dance Program
This program is designed specifically for people ages 6 to 18 with special needs. It will be a free community outreach class offered in the studio. Dancers in this class will be featured in our end of the year dance recital. STARS: Strong Talented Artists w/ Rhythm & Style.

Pointe Class
Our pointe classes allow advanced ballet students aged 10 and up to take their footwork to the next level. Your prima ballerina will learn proper placement, alignment, and how to pirouette their body while on their toes.
